Job Purpose:
Managing the development and implementation of Hikma MENA internal and external communication strategies while ensuring the coherence and credibility in transmitting Hikma’s image, vision, message and values., in addition to strategically building, maintaining and continuously fostering the growth of solid media and public relations for North Africa (Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia) with exposure to other MENA countries.
Job Description:
- Participates in the formulation and implementation of the communication strategy for MENA region to ensure the alignment with Hikma's strategy
- Participates in the development and implementation of Communication policies, processes and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Participate in the development of Communication budget, and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
- Contributes to the preparation of the Communication budget to ensure alignment with the approved set budget.
- Serve as brand ambassador helping to create understanding of the brand and its proper use/application across both offline and online platforms (internally and externally) in the 3 North African countries (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco)
- Effectively manage and maintain relationships with agencies and vendors to help facilitate the timely and on-budget completion of projects
- Serve as crisis communication team lead for regional specific crises
- Participates in the formulation and implementation of the communication strategy for MENA region to ensure the alignment with Hikma's strategy
- Managing MENA Communication and setting Group policies in line with Hikma’s group strategy.
- Supervising all activities related to press releases and company newsletters’ issuance, as well as any other publications concerning Hikma, such as the Company Website, Group Annual Report and various company factsheets, flyers and so on.
- Supervising the preparation of executives’ presentations across MENA required for public conferences and events
- Ensuring uniform Company messaging and rolling out consistent messages across all units including new ones as well as integrating new units in terms of Communication.
- Reviewing and updating Hikma’s website content and ensuring various social media outlets are constantly updated through recommending areas of development and supervising any amendments on the company’s website and other social media outlets.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of current digital/social media trends in North Africa
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or any relevant fields.
EXPERIENCE
- 8 -10 years of experience in communication function.
- Preferred: Experience in a pharmaceutical industry, Healthcare communication experience (corporate or agency experience)
